Social Media Tips – They’re Always Changing

You can make a call to one person, send a text to another, make a dinner reservation and catch Pokémon all at the same time. Below are some tips on how to take some pre-technology advice and apply it to your work:

Slow down. We live in an age where when we want something, we want it now. While that is great to have everything at your fingertips, taking your time to create quality and well-researched content can do wonders for your client relationships.

But be timely. When it comes to email, nobody likes a prolonged response. When your client inevitably responds back, try to respond quickly and continue to build on an active discussion from there.

Look at the past, present and future of social media. Nobody expected for social media to become what it has. Did you know that if Facebook were a country, it would be substantially bigger than China and that YouTube has gains over 1.25 billion users each month? Social media is here to stay and it is good to be prepared for how much further it is going to grow.

Technology has brought this world closer together and continues to create all sorts of opportunities.  Take the time to understand how the connected world can fit into what you are doing and let technology help enhance your business principles while not getting in their way.
