For any agency, winning an award for work well done is a reason to celebrate.
But to win five –– at one time? That’s an absolute triumph.
MCCI won five Davey Awards in October for work we’ve done for three clients: Michigan Nonprofit Association (two awards!), PVS Chemicals (two awards!) and the Michigan Masons.
The 16th annual Davey Awards honors the best creative solutions from small agencies worldwide. The best of the best in media like websites, video, branding and design. The very media for which MCCI has gained a reputation not only with our Detroit-based clients, but also with our clients across the country and throughout the world.
We’re proud to share these Davey Award recognitions:
- Gold medal for public service/activism AND a silver medal for charitable/nonprofit film for Michigan Nonprofit Association’s “Kids Count, Too!” video. The video used animation to explain the importance of filling out the 2020 census. The video was distributed to schools and shared on social media to reach kids, who were learning virtually because of COVID-19, with the hope they would share the information with their parents and other adults. (The video also won a Communicator Award earlier this year.)
- Gold medal for features copywriting AND a silver medal for best visual appeal/utility industry for PVS Chemicals’ website redesign. MCCI partnered with PVS SMEs to develop technical copy that describes how the company’s “Chemistry for Daily Life” philosophy benefits consumers. The redesign also showcased the company’s new brand video, written and produced by MCCI.
- Silver award for website associations for the Michigan Masons website redesign. MCCI and the Michigan Masons launched three websites on the same day –– and this website tied them all together. Nearly a year in the making, the new website has a fresh, new look and has brought greater awareness to the Michigan Masons.
