Why MCCI Chose the Murphy-Telegraph Building

We are loving our new home at the Murphy-Telegraph building in downtown Detroit!

Detroit BuildingThere are a number of reasons we chose to relocate – the first is that we simply ran out of room at our previous site for people, communication technology, and creative space. With growing clientele and an expanding team, we now have plenty of room at the Murphy-Telegraph for us to work and collaborate with one another.

This building was home to Western Union about a century ago, so there is a rich communication history in our 101 year old building.

Murphy-Telegraph owner Maria Gatzaros spoke with me prior to our move about her desire to have a well-branded creative communications group locate in her building. We joined another major creative cornerstone organization, Avanti Press – maker of those hilarious animal-centered greeting cards you can find across the nation. The president of Avanti, Rich Ruffner, also encouraged MCCI to move to the building.

We now have a new favorite space, and wonderful neighbors. What’s your favorite Detroit building in the city skyline?
