MCCI (Mort Crim Communications, Inc.), an award-winning Detroit-based integrated marketing agency, hired an associate creative director and two account executives to help serve its growing range of global, national and regional clientele.

Shaun Strack, Associate Creative Director:
In this role, Strack oversees MCCI’s creative team and provides artistic direction to the firm’s advertising, marketing, digital and web design team with planning, execution and day-to-day communication with clients. Some client accounts Strack is working on include the American Rental Association (ARA), the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) and the Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA), among others.
With more than 15 years of experience in the global advertising market, Strack most recently worked at Brooklyn-based Huge, an experience design and digital advertising agency where he served as senior art director and worked on the design and direction of content for Ram, Dodge, Chrysler and other brands. He is an alumnus of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit where he received his B.F.A in graphic design. He lives in Berkley.
Kayla Collins, Account Executive:
Joining MCCI’s PR team, Collins will assist various accounts including Invest Puerto Rico, Honigman and Forgotten Harvest. She was recently the marketing and special events manager at CARE of Southeastern Michigan where she oversaw the marketing, communications and events department and handled the sponsorships for the organization’s two major fundraising events. Collins is an alumna of Central Michigan University where she received her B.A. in integrative public relations. She is also an alumna of Michigan State University where she received her M.A. in strategic communications. She is a resident of Troy.
Jack Rodzik, Account Executive:
Assisting on MCCI’s wide range of advertising and marketing accounts, Rodzik was most recently the associate director of digital media at the Sigma Chi Fraternity’s international headquarters in Evanston, Illinois. During his time at Sigma Chi, he also served as the associate director of communications, multimedia and videography. He received his B.A. in journalism from Michigan State University and is a resident of Northville.
MCCI was founded in 1993 by legendary broadcaster Mort Crim, joined by Post-Newsweek (WDIV-TV) Executive Producer and journalist Terry Oprea. Crim retired in 2008, selling the firm fully at that time to Oprea. In late 2019, Oprea retired and sold the firm to four principals: Chris Heaton, CEO; Rich Donley, APR, President; Jennette Smith, Chief Marketing Officer and Todd Haight, Chief Strategy Officer.
