Mike is a true media relations expert, from securing interview opportunities for clients to creating marketing strategies, he knows it all! What do you love about MCCI?
I enjoy the people, our spacious office and the fact that our leaders really care about the people that are working for them. At MCCI, everyone is given a great amount of respect and everyone works with each other (instead of for each other). We collaborate, we work hard and we always get the job done, providing excellent service.
Explain your role as a part of the MCCI family.
I provide strategic marketing, copywriting and media relations support to multiple clients in a variety of industries. Each client and each situation is different so I’m constantly on the move, adjusting and making sure my clients are happy and that their needs are addressed.
What’s the most challenging part of your job? Most rewarding?
It is always a challenge to help clients stay two steps ahead of their competitors. Today, everyone is using an assortment of communications channels and it is difficult to utilize them all properly, but proactivity is the key. The most rewarding aspect of my job is being able to work with a number of different clients on many types of projects... I enjoy the variety.
How do you spend your time outside the office?
My wife and I have two daughters in elementary and middle school who keep us busy. We like to take weekend trips and hang out with other friends. I also enjoy golf, umpiring baseball and softball and attending the Michigan State University Spartans' football and basketball games.
