Without Terry, the MCCI office simply could not function… Not just because he is the driving force behind client acquisition and current client relationships, but because he is responsible creating and maintaining a truly collaborative environment among a team with various skill sets. What do you love about MCCI?

I like that we are small and feisty; our team only consists of quality employees. I really like that when people want something on a deadline and done well, they choose our firm over others. Lastly, I love our culture of collaboration and providing excellent results for our clients.

Explain your role as part of the MCCI family.

As President and CEO, my role is to inspire people to think independently while strategically building a diverse team of people who are excited to serve our clients.

What’s the most challenging part of your job? Most rewarding?

The most challenging part of my job is adding talented team members that also fit into our culture. The most rewarding part of my job is just watching our people succeed and hearing our clients applaud our work and outcomes.

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

I’m a very spiritual guy, so I spend a lot of my time with my maker. I focus intensively on my children and two grandchildren. I also make it my business to lead and build relationships with all kinds of people, from all walks of life: from those in need in the community to friends and colleagues who run institutions across the state and the nation.

If you were on the front page of a newspaper, what would the headline be?

Thirty-eight years later, still in love with his wife.
