Today we recognize our graphic design intern, Tyler Hudiburgh. Tyler has been with MCCI since May and has been a great addition to the creative team. She will be a senior this fall at Lawrence Technical University where she is studying graphic design. Find out more about what Tyler has to say about MCCI below:

What do you love about MCCI?

As cliché as it sounds, what I love the most about MCCI is the people and the work atmosphere here. There’s never a dull moment and right away, the team here makes everyone feel welcomed. Along with that, I’ve learned so much already about client relationships and how MCCI manages them.

Explain your role as a part of the MCCI family?

I am a graphic design intern, and my role is mainly to assist the creative team in any client projects that they need help in. However, what set MCCI apart from other graphic design internships was the fact that from day one I was put to work. The creative team eased me into multiple client projects and provided me with real work experience.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

As anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you I’m doing one of two things. The first being that I’m having a calm night with my friends, roommates, or family which consists of a nostalgic throwback movie and lively commentary. Or they will say that there’s no telling what I’m doing or where I am. I surround myself with people who like to do spontaneous things and that often consists of instant decision making. Sometimes I’ll be at the mall, snowboarding, or I’ll end up in Canada. There’s never a pattern.

If you could have dinner with three people (living or dead), who would you choose and why?

I would choose Freddie Mercury, Elton John, and Queen Elizabeth II. Not only because I adore all three of them, but also because I can’t help but think that having dinner with three Queens would be a night I wouldn’t want to miss.
