We are happy to officially introduce three new MCCI staff members. Garrett Ekstrom and Michelle Merriweather are joining the MCCI web and digital department, and Jeff Adkins is joining the public and media relations department. The expansion of these two departments has been a priority for us here at MCCI as demand has continued to grow for our PR and web/digital services!
- Garrett Ekstrom joined the MCCI team at the end of January and we wanted to give him a proper introduction. He is our Web Developer/ Designer and has done a tremendous job thus far in his role, rolling out one of our most exciting websites so far, the Leader Dogs for the Blind website. Garrett’s background is in freelance web development and creating websites for businesses across the metro Detroit area.
- Michelle Merriweather began her career at MCCI in October as a Digital Designer/Developer Intern. Now Michelle has begun her role as an Associate Web Developer/Designer, assisting us in our web development and graphic needs for MCCI and clients with everything from logos to banners! She is a College for Creative Studies alum.
- Jeff Adkins began his career at MCCI in December as a Public Relations/Marketing Intern. Now he will take on the role of Communications Associate. Jeff recently graduated from Wayne State University where he was a Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) member, as well as a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Detroit scholarship recipient. As a MCCI intern Jeff was instrumental in assisting with the new MCCI website copy, created incredible content for several clients' social media assets as well as content for various news releases and so much more.
