How we produced a major event in 30 days

Sometimes we’re fast. And sometimes we’re lightning. Like when we were asked to develop a major event – including unveiling a new organization name and logo – for Lightweight Innovations for Tomorrow (LIFT), a program of the American Lightweight Materials Manufacturing Innovation Institute (ALMMII).

In 30 days. Over the holidays.

We planned and coordinated exhibits, produced videos and promoted through earned media. We also managed social media channels to drive traffic. Along the way, we managed input from such stakeholders as the United States Navy, the Department of Defense, The University of Michigan and Ohio State University.


Well, 30 days later, we didn’t draw 200 people.
We drew 300. Not to mention strong coverage from national trade publications.
Sometimes we’re both fast and good.
